Curious about getting your clinical social work (LCSW) license? 


It doesn't have to be overwhelming. inbodied offers you access to a dedicated collegial team, regularly held workshops. trainings, and consultations.


We're committed to supporting your growth as a practitioner at inbodied.


Individual Supervision rates are negotiated on a case by case basis that factors in experience and need.


Group supervision is $30/hour.

What is the process?

If you’re curious at this juncture in your career about obtaining your LCSW licensure, trust yourself about exploring this question. You’ve made it through your undergraduate and your graduate schooling, have your LMSW licensure and this is a solid next step. It doesn’t have to feel overwhelming, in fact it gets to feel the opposite. We are committed here at inbodied to walk this path with you each step of your journey.


So what’s the process?


  • LMSW’s and their supervisors meet for 100 total hours. This occurs in no less than 24 months and no longer than 48 months.
  • 3,000 total work hours are needed when submitting final paperwork to the board to be eligible to sit for the licensing exam.
  • I meet with my supervisees 2x monthly for 1hr of individual supervision and weekly for 1.5 hours of group supervision.


Group and Individual Supervision


Group

  • Examine each case you bring forward by using the micro/mezzo/and macro lens when working with individuals, couples, families and groups
  • Implement NASW’s Code of Ethics to cases
  • Apply intersectional system approaches to each case (ex, race/class/sexual orientation/gender, etc.)
  • Apply system theories and approaches to cases
  • Discuss relevant various therapeutic models and modalities
  • Present cases and ethical dilemmas to the group for peer and supervisor feedback
  • LMSWs and their supervisor meet for 100 hours in 24-48 months.
  • 3,000 work hours are needed to submit final paperwork for licensing exam eligibility.
  • LMSWs and supervisor meet twice monthly for 1hr of individual supervision and weekly for 1.5 hours of group supervision.


Individual

  • 2x monthly 1 hour supervision  with LMSW and supervisor.
  • Please apply what occurs in group supervision to individual supervison

 

NEXT STEPS

  • Email and request to schedule a Supervision Consultation with Shannyn or Sharon
  • We then schedule a consultation to meet and discuss supervision goals.
  • You then will determine if you would like to begin a supervisor/supervisee relationship to obtain licensure
  • We will look at our collective calendars and determine if we can find a time that works for both of our schedules.
  • We will discuss the forms you will need to fill out to begin engaging the licensure process



Rates

  • Group:  $30/hour every other week
  • Individual: $100 for each 1-hour session
  • If you are needing to discuss the cost and any modification request please by all means discuss this with us! We will do our best to settle on a fee that works for both of us
